- Why I ride:
- Most significant cycling achievement: Moving from C to A Grade in one season.
- Podium race results: 2009/10 Crit Season Kew Boulevard: 2x B Grade Wins, 1x A grade 3rd place, 1x B Grade 3rd place; Sandown: 1x B Grade win, 1x C Grade win; Glenvale: 1x B Grade 2nd place; 2010 Rutherglen Cycling Classics Handicap 3rd Outright.
- Major goal for the coming year: To regain fitness lost from a year of travelling!
- Favourite ride (non 6am-er route): Passo del Stelvio, Northern Italy. Nearly 30k of beautiful twisting road, climbing from 700m to 2760. 48 hairpins on the way, glacier tops surrounding you, it literally feels like you’re riding to heaven!
- Favourite ride (6am-er route): Cirque de Cardinia – love the fact it uses the Selby-Aura Rd, that it uses some roads that the Shaws didn’t know about and that the whole ride seems to flow gracefully, despite taking you on a myriad of different sceneries.
- Favourite cycling event: Tour Down Under - a week of riding in lush hills, riding with PROs!!!, beach, loads and loads of cyclists from all walks of life, sun, good food, good mates
