- Why I ride: I ride primarily because I love the outdoors. I love the challenges of cycling, racing, screaming down hills and busting my but up hills. Also, I love hanging out with mates on bikes… such a great social sport.
- Most significant cycling achievement: Alpine Classic 200km – 6hrs 52min -Still sitting in 6th position on Cycle2Max!
- Podium race results: 2nd Lang Lang Road Race B Grade (about 2002), 3rd ‘D’ Grade Melbourne to Warnambool (2004), 3rd Masters Dirt Works 100k MTB (2010), 1st Masters Bright 6hr (2009), 2nd Warburton Road Race B Grade (2011), 2nd Masters Bright 6hr (2011), 1st Emergency Services Games MTB (2011), numerous podiums finishes in B grade road and crit races.
- Major goal for the coming year: To race the Melbourne to Warnambool again and finish in the main bunch.
- Favourite ride (non 6am-ers route): Alpine Classic 200km route (Tawonga, Falls Creek, Tawonga, Mt. Buffalo).
- Favourite ride (6am-ers route): King Lake via Pigeon Bank and Clintons Road.
- Favourite cycling event: Alpine Classic 200km – Because it’s conducted in the best country on earth and because I’m reasonabley good at it and I love the mountains.
