Ride Oddities of the 6am-ers are those little known tucked away roads that just beg to be ridden.
However beware whenever you hear “we’ll just go up here for a change…”
Ride Oddity 1 – Hughes Street
When riding in the vicinity of Tremont, Belgrave area… beware the 6am-er desire to be drawn to the hardest of climbs. Hughes Street will be calling. Sections of 17%.
Ride Oddity 2 – Slaughterhouse
When riding in the vicinity of Kalorama, Mt Evelyn area… beware the 6am-er desire to be drawn to the hardest of climbs. The Slaughterhouse will be calling. Steep all the way but finishes with an extra special punch.
Ride Oddity 3 – Serpentine
When riding in the vicinity of Tremont, Belgrave area… beware the 6am-er desire to be drawn to the hardest of climbs. The Serpentine will be calling.
Ride Oddity 4 – The Dirty Bitch
When riding in the vicinity of Montrose, Sheffield Road area… beware the 6am-er desire to be drawn to the hardest of climbs. The Dirty Bitch will be tempting you.
Ride Oddity 5 – The Invermay Wall
When riding in the vicinity of Monbulk with an intention to ride up the wall… beware the 6am-er desire to be drawn to the hardest of climbs. Invermay will be calling… and she’s a steep dirty bitch.
Ride Oddity 6 – Distorted Hill
When riding in the vicinity of Monbulk, The Patch area… beware the 6am-er desire to be drawn to the hardest of climbs. Distorted Hill will be calling… with a mirror finish so smooth it distorts your perspective.
Ride Oddity 7 – Kangaroo Ground to Warrandyte
When riding in the vicinity of Kangaroo Ground, Warrandyte area… beware the 6am-er desire to be drawn to spectacular undulating descents. Once all back together coming away from the Kangaroo Ground; the hammer goes down as this stretch of road experiences the mass of 6am-er power as each rider turns themselves inside out to be first down to Warrandyte round-a-bout.
Ride Oddity 8 – Italian Rivieria
When riding in the vicinity of Mornington, Dromana area… beware the 6am-er desire to be drawn to the coast. The Mornington rollers will be calling… with it’s spectacular views you’ll think you’re riding the Riviera’s of Europe.
The heart rate is sure to soar on these sections of absolute pain.
